    Default Morale Question

Is it wrong to totally despise someone who considers you a friend, this is someone ive known for numerous years and just being in the same room with him makes me want to vomit.

Sometimes people just aren't good or healthy to have around, even if they do still like you. It's not an easy situation to handle though. Being really busy helps though, at least that's how it seems people deal with it out here.

If there is poison on the table, it's not wrong not to drink it.

yeah satying busy is a good idea....but I have very few friends too but the people I have as friends don't make me wanna vomit...sometimes you just have to tell them....and I know that sounds wrong...but seriously if it's harming you in any way you should keep distance, but forrest makes a few good points

I just have a question. Why do you have to be around this person, is it a relative or something? You don't need to answer If you don't feel like it, it was just my curiousity. Anytime I can't stand anyone I immediately distance myself from them. I know exactly the situation you are in though, I have been in it a few times. It just isn't healthy because of stress factors and things, plus it isn't fair to you. Luckily I can spot an asshole a mile away.

Oh, it happens both ways I imagine. Self examination could be helpful, or perhaps talking to this person about it (if it's that bad). I personally just sort of limit my time with the person(s) or group, as the case may be. All in all, it is my opinion that it's pretty normal.

The reason i must be around the person in question is because i have a central group of friends, of which he is a part of, speaking out against such could risk alienation from the group, which sounds really lame but ive learned in High School there is stregnth in numbers but thanks to everyone for the advice.

Do you dislike the person because of things they do wrong or are they merely annoying? Like is this ran over your mom with a car or snorts when laughing?

like...he's stolen from me, then spun it off as a "joke", which is something i'd rather not deal with, thus i have put some distance between him and me, but nonetheless, i'd like him to get the message.
