Hello, havent posted before but i'd just like to point out a complete annoyance to me being an englishman.
Grammar.
I've met a few americans and I know one personally who teaches english, for the love of jebas spellcheck, I know that americans can spell so will some who are just tapping away and not checking their spelling or grammar do so.
I'm not saying this to be a pain in the arse about it, but its another little thing that would move the general consensus that americans are ignorants hicks into a better light.

I agree with Bikerpunk on the issue, americas policy of "shock and awe" has only recently been stopped in Iraq, so maybe the whole spiel of building hospitals, improving security, improving quality of life. Should stop being a spiel and stop spending money on advanced artillery systems that can entire areas within an hour.

I know this doesnt have anything to do with it but I just wished to add my two - penith

There is where we will disagree Biker and Selebryb. We need to spend more on defense. Maybe not on the advance artillery system, but more on the soldier. His pay, his, main weapon, secondary as well. Here in the US defense of our boarders more money need to be place there.

Computer's hard drive was down for nearly four months between late November and late February, hence the absence from these forums.

Am glad to be back here, and on-line in general, though, even though I got back on-line on Monday last, am still getting back into whatever sort of on-line routines I had before the crash.

Glad to see you back! I had an email crash and then I switched which comp I am mainly using and that was enough to make it hard to log into a bunch of my online stuff, so much sympathy on a whole hard drive crash. That sucks.
