im a fan of plain lettuce leaves, the green ones are preferred. and keep them away from nasty stuff like onions, eww. no need for salad dressing of any kind. it tastes good enough on its own.

steam some sliced carrots untill cooked, and then put butter, brown sugar, and chopped fresh mint in them; it's actually pretty good....
I like raw endives, especially the red ones. they are bitter, but good.Originally Posted by aXa
Carrots are really good done like that, yes. Don't think I've tried them with mint, tho -- it sounds good.Originally Posted by VoltaireBlue
the mint adds a really nice element of spice.... when It is paired with the carrots it does not taste minty, it tastes more spicy.... It's good.Originally Posted by funkatron

I'm all about asparagus fried in sesame oil.
The stinky pee is a bonus.
my favorite veggies are the ones in large-object insertion videos
I love veggies. I get frozen mostly, for convience and longevity.
I get the bag from walmart with the peas still in the hull along with carrots and a bunch of other stuff... I cook it on a higher setting so that they cook the inside slowly, and the outside quicker, so they arent all mush when they're done.
I use real butter (salted) salt and pepper to taste, and top with a shredded mexican cheese blend. its good to darken the outside of some of the veggies, it makes them taste SO much better, it really causes the flavor to be enhanced.
They dont taste icky that way.
I think the darkening is called carmelizing.
I carmelize sliced onions with a little touch of honey, and it really enhances the flavor. Theres been so many people who dislike veggies to try mine, and love them.
I love to cook
I've got a few good recipes under my belt. I'm not stingy, I'll share if interested.
when i have a cold, garlic and habenero peppers are my fave
