Default FAO our resident bakery babe

When is a cake not a cake? When is a biscuit not a cookie?

When it costs you 7 million dollars in tax

One hopes your Internet Cookies are correctly registered with the IRS Department of Non-Luxury Baked Goods and Sundries, Exemptions (Domestic) Division...

It's a TeaCake. Marshmallow on a Biscuit coated in milk chocolate. They are very common and popular in the UK. Lovely they are.

Yeah, Tunnock's Tea Cake, I love them. I had them once and when my friend came to Japan from London I had him bring me 3 boxes.

Yup, we get cheaper ones here too, but Tunnocks are the best. Damn! Now I sound like an advert for them.

Yes, but do you pay Sales tax on Books? VAT is not charged on books and most non-luxury foods.

We have something similar to TeaCakes in Canada/U.S., except they are called Viva Puffs and you can also get them with a chocolate or raspberry or caramel filling. I used to work for the company that made them.

Not since the books I buy are either 2nd hand or over the net. Though as always the government wants to tax the net which may be another bush fuck up before he is out.
