    If you look at the moon it looks larger than it should be because of the distortion caused by the atmosphere, but if you look thruogh a camera lens the distortion is nullified, like in your pic.

    I guess what I'm having a prob or... confusion with... is that it looked the same with my eyes as it does in the pic....

    Maybe I'm a little dense on this subject... its known to happen.

    I get this stuff out of books, but try it wits one of those disposable cameras, looking through the little lens thing you use to aim, and with the final pic.

    I can understand it under those terms a bit better. My camera, is a decent hobbyist camera. So it does a good job with depicting what the eye actually sees.
