i know most of you disagree greatly with uncle sam but is there anyone one here who has herved in the military?

I can't serve in the British Army, since I'm a Civil Servant. The rest of the country would have to have been wiped out on the Battlefield before we got called up.
in the british army, do they all wear the berets or is it just the supreme badasses?
I used to be a Merchant Marine. I also went through about 3 years of AF JROTC and AF ROTC. When I went to join as an O1, they told me I was clinically insane for having tattoos on my face. So oh well.
I've served for almost 11 1/2 years in the Canadian army.
Army told me to go away until my assault charge got cleared(I beat someone with a piece of dough) and since it took two years to get a court date I was doing other things, I would have liked to join though
i asked. they said they didn't want me. sometimes i wonder why.
oh great, so NOW you tell me a squirt of henna in the right place would've gotten me out of GW1...Originally Posted by Jax

join up... but they were really
dead set against me bringing
my own weapons... especially
since I had some that were better.
Fucking sore losers... oh well...
think my cat shit in their sandbox
anyhow... and my OD green bong
would have went so well with the
swell kits they were all wearing too.
So I guess all those Maori are insane as well?Originally Posted by Jax
its probably because of the weapons you are using.......by the way what are you using that they wont let you use?
we've found the WMDs, they're in hempknights basement!
I have bad knees and I'm also too large. So I was turned down too. In hindsight I guess I don't mind so much.
I'm serving now. AirForce WEAPONS.
meh, im not the fighting type. i prefer non-violent conflict, like insults.
i may cross the boundry and be one of the scientists that invent something good that the army turns to evil, so dont hold me word for word to the above!
i served in the U.S. army for 6 yrs.......combat engineer

Honestly if it was a one on one with Isreal pilots then they would win. But i load and maintain the weapons system on the F-16 and was on the B-52.Originally Posted by BloodredProject2402

The most hostile situation was when the load crew and I were loading a B-52 full of Bombs in Diago Garcia to fly over to Iraq. As a weapons loader we tend to stay behind the lines.Originally Posted by BloodredProject2402
haha, wow, sounds dangerous....just kidding, i know that bomb handelling stuff is pretty dangerous ( my soon-to-be step father was also in the air force doing almost the same thing)and was just wandering because there is no story i love more than a story told about hostile situations from the people who live there themselves
i'm in school for aerospace engineering, so i'm doing AF ROTC to design for their Space Systems program. i don't want to fight or anything, but it seems the best way to become an astronaut.
Sweet a gothic astronaut. yur cool manOriginally Posted by Angel Slayer

eh. sorry if that crossed the line and was too offenseive. it was meant to be tongue in cheek. the idea of "conquering" the universe seems like a lofty goal for a man with a small penis. sorry about that one too, angel slayer. that wasn't directed at you, I think it would be cool to be an astronaut, but what the US military has to do with it.. that's where I think the absurdity comes in.
The US military has Nothing to do with the Astronaut program. It's just easier to get into the Astronaut program if you Already have pilot trainning and been thru the Rigorous trainning that you get in the military.Originally Posted by Morning Glory
