What is your favorite kind of writing utensil?
I love those gel pens, personally, and thin tipped sharpies!

free pens with a cool company name on it, that are with you so long they actually run dry
I hate standard ballpoint pens. Seriously, I hate them.
I love Sharpies and medium dry erase markers best.
Does a computer keyboard count?
Probably not, but as for my favorite writing utensils, in order:
Waterman Harmonie Chrome fountain pen;
Uniball VISION Elite (black);
Uniball VISION fine point.
I have various other implements, hither and thither, but really those three are my most common on carriage and at any given moment I always have a fine point in my pocket.
I'm with Amerist - 99% of my writing is via a keyboard and I can type way faster than I can write longhand.. but my doctor-scribble is first class in intelligibility stakes! Deep envy for folks that can do shorthand though.
If you force me to use legacy materials then it ends up being disposable ballpoints, as round here they get snaffled by someone as soon as you put them down. Anything worth more than a dime would need to be on a chain.
i only write in the blood of my enemies.
and, occasionally, ink. or pencil. in fact, now that i think about it, usually pencil or ink. never mind.
Probably the spork. Wait I didnt read this thread too closely.
black pen... either pilot or uniball ultra fine tip...
I prefer a keyboard or a ball point pen, bonus points for purple ink. Although I think evilstonermonkey is on to something, so I might have to see if BIC can put that in a pen.
Bic Pens, those realy cheap looking ones tha come in like boxes of 50
I used to create works of art with those things and notebook paper back in high school
this took me 2 hrs (Biology/Spanish class)

for actual writing either a fountain or quill pen (fountain for taking notes and whatnot quill for journaling and writing letters)
But for everything else I either type or do stuff in pencil.
My favorite colour, purple; lovely when penned to paper as well.Originally Posted by Amelia G

Pilot Razor-Point Pens & 0.5mm mechanical pencils
pilot has some super nice ballpoints... but my favorite (for drawing... writing... whatever) is papermate medium point pens 12 pack is like 3 bucks, its awesome.
killatomik that picture freaking rocks, i love the teeth
http://pinguin83.deviantart.com/gallery/ theres some of my pen art ... timewastings? haha... all the full page drawings and tattoo pictures are done in pen. fun stuff! makes me want to draw again.
I really like my new uniball 207 gel roller pen. Its AWESOME. Its like 6$ at target, and the grip on there is worth its weight in gold...
yeaaahhhh uniball got some niiiice pens too!
The finest pheasant quills from the house of dunhill dipped in toucan droppings

I like you... I bet you got some niiiice pens alrightOriginally Posted by mmmcherry
aw go on... it's interesting. i'm one of those folks who can't type and usuallly has bad inconsistent handwriting. sometimes it slants forwards and sometimes backwards and occaisionally straight up and down (during the transition)Originally Posted by mmmcherry

but yeah all my nice pens.. i used em so much theyre dry haha! who wants to buy me some more???!!!
good quality ballpoint pens where you have to pay a little more for better quality
Gel pens, pencils preferably, but gel pens when I was in h.english, but...sometimes the 1.0 copic liners I can't use in ANY of my drawings 'cause they're way to friggen BIG...so why let them go to waste? XD
i have a bad habit of writing with Pentel RSVP fine point pens with red ink. I think I have a purple one for writing stuff I want ppl to read. Otherwise I use my fountain pen, esp for songs and poetry. Though I do keep a black UniBall in my purse for stuff like deposit slips etc.
I've lately taken to writing in hot pink felt tip ink. more stuff I don't want any one to read without eye strain. In school i used alot of gold and silver gel pens and once wrote 500 times "I will not chew gum in class" wiht yellow ink on yello legal paper. Mr Cahall framed it and hung it on the wall. My brother says it's still there.

hah... i can imagine students in his class wondering why the fuck hes got paper framed when theres nothing on it... hehe! go keiko!!
*grins* yeah that was a crowning moment in my high school glory. I wish I still had a sheet of that somewhere. if you look real close you can see the darker yellow where the letters are, but as its my handwriting, not like you could tell what it says.
:p

you rock.
*bows* thank you. You made my day.

A nib holder with a fine nib attached, dipped into ink and drawn on some kind of parchment or other fine writing paper.
I won't skimp on stationery, tattoos or food.
We're almost always using paintbrushes, but when the need arises, I go with the gel pens (clicky kind, no lids, I will loose them)
