Fuck this pisses me off. In the past year or so I've gone through about 10 pairs of jeans. Levis, Wranglers, generics, the whole lot. But every single pair is crap. I've had stitching unravel, belt loops just fall off, crotches wear out and tear from riding or split when I throw my leg over my bike. It's a complete pain in the ass.

Does anyone make a decent, tough pair of jeans anymore? I don't mind paying a few extra bucks for quality but I'm not gonna go out and buy a 200 dollar designer pair unless it comes with a ten year guarantee and a blow job.

Got carhart work wear out there?
Those jeans are probably some of the toughest.
Also heard that the prison blues hold up pretty well,

What are you doing to go through 10 pairs of jeans? Jesus Christ, a pair of jeans lasts me a couple years.

    I feel your pain RW.

I still have one pair of c1rca thin jeans that, incredibly, lasted so long. And they come with warranty. www.c1rca.com

If you want hard core old school type of jeans check out dunderdoon. They make clothes yhat last for years. www.dunderdon.com I got p45 sandler model and they're great and strong.

And as Mr Karl mentioned, heavy duty working clothes will last you for years if you use regularly and not for work

Its hard for me to find jeans, but thats cause I'm short, and a girl. I usually find Lip Service fit me well when I can find them in my inseam, and seem to last, the retail is a little pricey, but you can find them on a lot of web-sites and auction sites for a lot cheaper. My man likes the brand too.

TC, like I said, it's mostly riding and stretching that is wrecking them. I also walk A LOT and frequently am crouching, crawling, wrestling or kicking for work so they see a lot of action.

Johnny, thanks for the Ben Davis link, I'll check it out.

Everyone who suggested carharts thanks. But I used to work for a place that sold them. They fit like crap on me and look even worse. For the most part I'm totally a "function over form" guy, but they were just so bad that it was over the line.

seems that riding 10000 miles in 4 months has ripped out the ass in most of my jeans... i am also on a search for the jeans that last like they used to... i am having good results with a pair of Levis (i forgot the model number but will look at them at lunch and post it for you)... they are jeans, not faded, acid washed, fancied up, distressed, or otherwise ruined by douchbag fashion... put about 3000 miles in the saddle with them (plus prospecting duties) and so far so good... they get less wear now that i am patched, but they seem to be holding up....

i buy old navy jeans. they fit me and last well enough.
    and they're cheap.
but i'm not doing anything stressful to them, so i am in no way helpful to this thread.
