Toxicity (Pics!)

The idea: Just fooling around for a halloween look; something cheesy but fun. The challenge was to use neon green and black (in synthethic dreads, no less) without looking cyber.

What I learned: Lots about braiding and knotting dreads that are already attached to your head together to get them in new shapes. Discovered the usefulness of brushed on mix-with-water makeup for getting stronger colors and tighter shapes than messing about with pencils and eyeshadows. Having a your hair come down your back primarily in the center means you need to decorate the back of your jacket better than before.

Shoot under blacklight, you mean? I think that's kinda tricky, since it hardly comes out unless normal ambient light is too low to really take pictures under (more knowledgable/better equipped photography people correct me if I'm wrong) - you generally end up with a few brightly colored spots in a dark blurry mass. Could be cool if every detail you want visible is blacklight-reactive-contrasted, though.

Nightmare Before Christmas influenced stuff is probably happening at some point in time. Black and white, lots of spirals and general weird erratic shapes are good stuff, but don't expect to recognize it at first glance.

I thought that one stood out also. It's a change from her usual having-my-pic-taken expressions and fits this style.
