I minored in Art History and love going to the art museums. I don't have any friends that enjoy that though. There's some great Museums in LA. Any that you go to or artists that you look forward to seeing?

Dali/surreal, Mucha/nouveau, Ancient Egyptian, Steinlen and his cats and many more artists and their respective styles...lived in Paris and loved the intimate Picasso museum as well as the expected Louvre and d'Orsay.
I'm not big into art, but I do like David Bollt and Michael Godard.
really too many to name. I am a huge fan of art. I'll make a short list later.
I really don't know much about art but a few I like are Goya, Dali, and Warhol. I really like pin up art (Vargas), and photography (mostly fashion) Irving Penn, Herb Ritts, David LaChapelle, Patrick Demarchelier, Christine Kessler, Annie Leibovitz, and of course the lovely and talented Amerlia G and Forrest Black
I like a lot of stuff out there, but I can't really remember many names
My favorite art museum is the Menil Collection in Houston. I also love the Hirshhorn in D.C. As for artists, I love Mark Rothko, Cy Twombly, Andy Warhol, Barnett Newman, Robert Rauschenberg, Xul Solar, Maggie Taylor, Frieda Harris, Linda M. Montano, Annie Sprinkle, and my friend David Adickes. There are many other artists whose work has fascinated and inspired me, but I tend to remember the work more than the artist's name, something I am trying to fix.
I love art.
i was an art history major for quite a while but dropped it when i realized i couldnt concentrate on my favourite period/movement. those being romantisism and the preraphaelites. i then spent some time looking at ancient or classic art, only to switch to ancient civ for my major. very partial to the greco roman world and ancient egypt.
Fafi.
Amandine
Kukula.
I definitely love Salvador Dali and the surrealism movement. I enjoyed studying him in art college.
Also a more modern and surreal artist and performer that I love is Matthew Barney who did the Cremaster Cycle at Guggenheim in New York. His work is incredible and so cool to watch. I love the Guggenheim in New York also and definitely recommend it to anyone.
I've always really liked the work of Alexander Calder. He has a massive mobile in the National Gallery of Art in D.C. He has so many pieces that I really enjoy.
taking it back impressionist style- i heart renoir
