1. What does it mean to be a goth?
I think bringing something to the table is important.
2. What was desirable about becoming a goth?
I found them to be accepting, intelligent people with
similar interests. I refuse to label myself. I have definitely
been around the punk and gothic "scenes" tho.
3. What do goth guy/girls find attractive in each other?
Intelligence, Beauty, Simply being yourself.
4. What things are desired by Goths?
World Domination/Peace and aesthetic environments.
5. What if any religion do you follow?
I identify with Transcendentalism.
6. What kind of job would u like to have in the future?
Anything self-directed.
7. How do you feel about having kids would you want them to be Goths as well?
When I grow up perhaps. I would want my kids to have an environment where
they could discover their own bliss.
8. What actions make a good/bad goth?
Eldergoths rock!
Language.
1. Are there any special buzz words?
Let's hope not.
2. What language do you prefer?
Ukrainian and English
3. Are there any bad words?
Boredom must be outlawed as a word and state of mind.
Norms.
1. Are there things you can’t do as a goth?
Can never implies ought. Hopefully, it is a community of civil people.
2. Are there things you’re expected to do?
Please.
3. Are there rules about how you are suppose to behave?
I prefer to associate with those who don't subscribe to such proprieties
4. Are there any taboos?
I think humans in general have taboos against **** and incest. I believe
all goths do as well. Beyond that, it is about being yourself and having
no boundaries in your life.
5. How do you address each other?
Usually by name or monicker.
6. Where do you hangout?
Exactly where we want. If I end up hanging out a cemetery it
is based on aesthetic interest or to visit people I've lost. I don't
think the cliches are applicable.
7. Is there a standard of dress?
I think only due to the desires of the individuals. The club I used to
go to certainly had none.
Symbols.
1. Are there any specific gestures, and what are there meanings?
I am too animated with body gestures to even interpret.
2. Are there any specific images, and what do they mean?
Bauhaus means good music.
3. What does wearing black mean?
