What is some stuff that you should probably know how to do, that due to situation or circumstance, you dont know how to do yet, or forgot how to do?

Example: I still have trouble with bus schedules and taking buses without assistance, because nobody actually took the time and effort to teach Me how to do that.
No one taught you how to tell time?Originally Posted by BrightStar

I can't roll my tounge or blow a bubblegum bubble.
I do not whistle very well or stay on a regular sleep schedule.
Okay, that was funny, but seriously charts and things like that are a breeze once you understand them, but they are not obvious if people just act like you should psychically understand them.Originally Posted by Tequila Zaire

i cant read bus schedules either, or plane or train schedules, i would never travel by myself, i wouldnt get where i need to be.
i cant snap or whistle, and i cant say bagel right.
i dont know how to snap my fingers and btw MistressJennifer i also dont know how to multiply i only know the easy ones like the 5s,2,and10s altho i did devise a way to do the harder ones but its a bit commplicated to explain
I'm a French major, and I have three friends who are exchange students from France. And everytime I try to talk to them, I choke. But I am getting better, they've been speaking the language for 20 years, I've only been studying it for 4.
I cant dance...But I'm white so its understandable...
i can't whistle really loud... like through the fingers, i pronounce italian wrong, and i'm horrible at spelling (as you can see if you've ever noticed my messages around the board) but i can roll my belly!!! that means i can almost belly dance yah for me!
i cant devide anything with numbers over two digits and sometimes i cant do that. its weird though because i can multiply and perform other complicated mathematical things involving big numbers in my head very quickly not like computer fast or anything but still enough to impress people oh and i cant snap my fingers either
I can't whistle at all. I just sort of squish my lips and blow air out of my mouth. It's no good.
sad but i cant crack my knuckles :P
I don't tell time very well at all unless it's digital. And forget military time that just makes me cranky trying to figure it out.
I'm really ~really~ bad at math other than basic math.
I can't wolf whistle someone tried to teach me and I wound up drooling all over myself.
I can't give good directions by street name or actual direction (N-S etc).
I am really bad at shaving so I don't do it all that often.
I suck at math as well and I'm not blonde :'(Originally Posted by MistressJennifer
I have a problem with spelling, when I have to write exams where spelling counts, my grammer and writing style always suffer because I can't spell the complex words that I'd like to use! but hey, I've got a degree on my wall now, so I guess spelling isn't THAT important...unless you are an English major like my husband....
I can't ice-skate very well, and I'm up here in Canada where it's a common pasttime!
I can't wolf-whistle either, I just make a raspberry sound...
I CAN now touch my toes, before everyone seemed to be able to do it except for me, but I practiced until I got it! *bending down to touch my toes* hehehe
Yeah, And I also have a really bad sense of direction...ask me which way is which at night or when the sun is at high-noon, and I couldn't tell you...I can only tell by looking at the sun!
Military time is fairly easy.Originally Posted by Nudemuse

I havent been in ROTC for a while, so I may be off by an hour or 2 on the instructions for Military time, which happens to be the norm for Europe time, according to people I have spoken with.
I cannot do basic home repairs.... every "10 minute job" will take me 4 days, go $2000 over budget, create 5 seperate trips to Home Depot, and cause me to repeatedly curse whatever damnable god I was at one time told to worship. Sometimes I think I should pay a profesional to change a damn light bulb.
i cant make an omelette
or whistle
or fold clothes up
or say something funny at the appropiate time......it's always the inappropiate time like i'll walk into a room say smile you miserable bastards hahaha then find out someones just died or something....not that saying smile you miserable bastards is funny im just using it as an example

i can't do that spoon on the nose thing.i never got that.
another thing i find weird is that i don't remember anyone teaching me how to tie my shoelaces,go potty (and wipe),or bathe properly.i'm sure i got it now.or do i?
hmmmmmmmm something i don't know how to do... hmmmm
o got one i got a new job at a garage working on cars and i haft to use my own tools for the job and i have the tendincy of leaving things sitting around (my tools) and one of the the guys at the shop hates it. He uses all snapon tools and they cost so freaking much. ill never be able to afford them. but he says after i start buying nicer shit i really don;t need to leave shit sitting around. If i put 10,000 dollors into tools for my job then i prolly wouldn't
I cant buy groceries, even going into the store is hard for me
I was raised an only child, my parents still live down the street from me, and even though I am 26 they still do my taxes for me. I am going to have a real problem ever doing that on my own, thank god I have a tax man for my business who can help me.
hmmm *ponders*, first off i'm from newcastle and so can't pronounce words with a "c" and a "k" together properly, e.g. becki, vicki, nicky, unlucky.
i can't wolf whistle,
i can't crack my knuckles,
i can't click my fingers,
i can't tell my left from right very well (have to hold out my hands out in front of me and see which one 'makes' an L.....you know, left hands index finger and thumb = L),
i can't give directions (i have to walk people to places),
i can't iron, fold clothes, use a washing machine, use an oven, cook...i'm not domesticated!!
