Do certain types of Music affect you in different ways?

Do certain types of music or beats or rythms affect you in different ways?

Examples would be:

SoundScapes create emotions,etc

For some reason that I dont know why, whether I like or Dislike the Song, Most "Acid" type music , Like "Molly Hatchet"makes me get intense headaches and vomit on occasion, and some other wierd effects as well.

Does anybody else have encounters like this, or know why certain types of music or songs affect people like that?

very deep notes which are inaudible were used in ghost trains and stuff as they affect your nervous system.

theres a guy i know who does this incredible electronica - and it can be absolutely terrifying - if anyone pms me with an address them i'll ask him to send you a cdr. but it is really freaky stuff, like the soundtrack of a complete nervous breakdown. then of course you have the flaming lips, guaranteed to make you feel better. they are far better than prozac...

if i hear teeny shit like blue or westlife i start to convulse...

Music's tempo/rhythm really effects me, also the general mood of the music. (sad, angry, mellow, happy) Poorly written music/lyrics and BAD SINGERS make me want to vomit.. or severely injure them. Sometimes both. That's an effect too.

Rap, hip-hop, and badly written music make me want to kick something repeatedly until the music stops. Some country, soft rock, & mainstream music bore me to tears. Other music is OK, either it makes me relaxed & mellow or euphoric & excited.
