I have a lv 80+ sorc on ladder (fire, and she sucks because she has terrible items) a lv 83 barbarian with full ik set (hes my main tank)

Warcraft 3 is godly.
I hate playing it online though, everyone plays cheap tactics.
(i.e. hero rush in the first 15 seconds of the game/maphack.)
Plus theyr'e all children and if you try to argue with them and make sense they retort with 'fag' or 'gay' or 'homo' or 'queer' or pretty much any variation of these (usually always followed by 'n00b' I think this translates into 'newbie' apparently its offensive?)

The gameplay is fun, cutom games with people you know are fun.
I'm waiting for a new starcraft with a similar system.

I was under the impression WoW was having its own seperate set of realm servers. That was one of Blizzard's main reasons for making it a monthly p2p game unlike the rest of their games with free multiplayer.

True however its the same in ALL Blizzard realm servers. I'd go so far as to say online gaming as a whole.

It is but ultimately the fanbase will still be the same...so expect to run into many of the same assholes you do in other Blizzard games.

Actaully it's much harder to pull off Diablo 2 and Warcraft 3 like cheats since every major part of the game is Server side. So cheating is VERY hard and bannign cheaters is much easier. It CAN happen as with anything but it's nowhere near as prevalent.

Blizzard is probably one of the most active companies as far as dealing with cheaters. I read atleast once a month of them banning 1 million accounts and cd keys from whichever game for using illegal software.

I uninstalled again.. I get bored of the game very quickly.
Too much emphasis on godly items. Plus the fact I've beaten it in Normal/Nightmare/Hell wth nearly every character and some multiple times kinda kills the fun for me.

Though the games may look nothing alike I'd check out City of Heroes...it's the only MMORPG that gets combat "Right" as it where. It's strips away alot of uneeded nonsense and delivers a fun combat oriented game.

The beauty is in it's simplicity of design...but once you play it you'll discover that depending on the characters you create the game plays very diffrent. Character creation is currently unrivaled as EVERYONE who plays looks diffrent...Plus with about a dozen servers and the ability to create 8 characters PER server...you can really expriment.

Though the game may look bright and cheery it's not...it has quite a dark edge to it. You have everything from Satanic street gangs, vicious looking zombies, and areas of intense devenstation and death...the game manages to encompass the wide range of Super Heroes from every age, Golden to Modern. It's the purest fun I've had with a game in a long time.

That is one of the reasons why I quit battle net. Random kids would try to kill my character that I've spent time building, for no apparent reason than just to be fuck-offs. However my friends and I did set up our own "password-protected" games...
