I don't really collect them anymore but I used to collect the 'Hellraiser' comics (super wicked) and EC reprints of 'Tales from the Crypt', 'Haunt of Fear' and 'Vault of Horror'.

there's more that I'd like to get in graphic novel form but I haven't really the time nor the cash, Dave Sim's Cerebus comes to mind as well as the Sandman which I love, but have never got around to buying, and I need to complete my collection of Preacher... ah, some day i'll have all the comics that I want.

Quite a few...

Preacher, Transmetropolitan,Sin City, The Sandman, Grendel, Sandman Mystery Theatre, Urusei Yatsura, Anything by Milo Manara and Masamune Shirow.

Numerous others. Of them all I think the only one I have a complete collection of is Transmetropolitan. I saw the first ads for it and knew I HAD to buy that book...I even have the very rare Newspaper Promo they did. The series was a bit uneven toward the end (too much trying to be like Hunter S. Thompson) but that's like complaining your fantastic meal had to end. It was filled to the brim with amazingly well executed atmosphere that is absent from a lot of books today. An excellent series I am proud to have and pass on to people whenever I have the chance.

As much of a fan as I am I did think the Spider Jerusalem "action figure" was a bit fucking much though. The "fake" glasses they released where cool though.

man, its been many years since i collected silver surfer and x-men comic books. in my adult life i really only like the comic books that i can jerk off to... Crazyxxx3Dworld is certainly one of my favs.lots of good alien / insertion stuff.

is the new venom any good? i have the series lethal protector and the first iss of funeral pyre and drew, if you like jerk off mags try tarot or 3 little kittens it's done by broadsword comics which was created by jim balent (of catwoman fame)very swanky comics almost every panel is nude.

^^^Tarot is cool, the story is readable. 3 little kittens isn't for me. I haven't read any of the new venom. I'm honestly more into collecting comics then actually reading them. (and by collecting I mean the charachtors I think are cool or have neat covers, not really for value purposes)

my favourite is the UK weekly "2000ad" been buying it since 1988

its where judge dredd comes from, pity the film was shit, but mean machine (the guy with the dial on his head) was fukn cool, as was the ABC warrior (the big robot).
the film "hardware" was ripped off from a short story in 2000ad. i love that film, it came out in australia round the same time as Akira and friends watched them both on acid and freaked out during Hardware.
