What was the first game console you ever had? My brother had to get stitches after playing Pacman too aggressively on the Atari 2000 (I think that was the number) and Pong certainly had its own addictive qualities.

Nintindo....
i came a bit late ....but i've owned maybe 3 since that time...it's really not my thing..
But ...i will tear ass on some Exite bike.
Super Nintendo we were to poor when the original one came out so my lil brother and i settled by pretending to be the super mario brothers
The ever popular Atari 2600 in all its glory. And even as pathetic as it was, in comparison to the new ones..it was just as addictive.
Video Games = Crack
sega genesis.... man, my sister and i thought pac-man was the best thing ever
I've owned at least four different systems:
The "Original" Nintendo with Robbie the Robot
The "New" NES
Super Nintendo
Atari Lynx (which was more entertaining than anything previous with certain exceptions)
GameCube
Playstation 1 (I sold it/gave it away)
Playstation 2
Sega Genesis (for a couple of months then it broke down)
It's not as big a deal to me as it used to, but it's irritating to think that if I had the time I'd be on these games. I'm such a scaredy cat and yet I play "Survival-Horror" stuff
not sure if it was a colecovision or an earlier atari, but it was a box with two knobs, and pong on it , no cartridge, just a simple plastic box with knobs... thank GOD they have come a LONG way since the mid 70s
Genesis then i got a hand me down NES then a Virtual Boy then a Dreamcast now ive got an X-Box with an X-Box 360 on reserve
The Original NES System.
K
lol - a commodore 16, big clunky thang with a tape deck that you used to load the games. you'd have to turn it over halfway, and it'd take forever to load...
I started with some kind of Atari system(too long ago to remember)
Then Nintendo (with the Zapper and Power Pad), Genesis, N64, Game Cube, and PS2.
I still have all but the Atari. Now I've got all the NES and SNES games on my computer)
Wow, what would my life be with out videogames? *imagins sitting quietly in an empty room*
my first console was the intellivision with boxing & baseball

lol - my uncle had one of those, we used to play 'shark! shark!'. i was jealous as hell until my dad got a C64Originally Posted by VoldtaEngler

Woohoo... I still have my commie 64.Originally Posted by vixta

Magnavox Odyssey 2
Sega Genesis, which I had for three weeks before my brother threw it in the toilet.
After immense whining, Super Nintendo.
the original Nintendo
duck hunt rocks my sox
nes
sega master system, then a mega system (genesis over there) then ps1, currently ps2. good memories *sniff*
Atari 2600 (aka the Atari VCS).
I had one of the Radio Shack Tandy TRS-80 Color Computers (AKA CoCo)
You had to put in your own programs (it came with a few that you had to input) It also came with some cartridge stuff...I cant remember all the details of the thing...I think I still have it at my moms house in the attick....You hooked it to the TV and Yes it came with a Tape player that you used also...
After that my parents got me an Atari 2600 (ReSpEcT!!!)
Just think if not for the consoles of yore we wouldnt have the online 3d power house multimedia systems that we have today....We have came a long way since Pong! and Donkey Kong....
The Odyssey
intellivision
My firsth game console was Game Boy... It wasn't a game console actualy....
Thing is I had commodore 128 with disc unit a way before I got gameboy.... I got it around age of 9
Isn't amasing how computer world changes from day to day....

It took forever to add a program...I remember being in front of that thing for DAYS...And it never failed...You would almost get finished and the DAMN POWER WOULD BLINK!!!!Originally Posted by Vitorro

atari 600 Xl , the kid down the road had pong
I still have an Intellivision, with a ton of games...
But when you play them now, it's silly how bad they look...
But yeah, it was my first one, and the only people who can appreciate it, are people who had one as well...
