    Watch it all break down.
    • First, they talk about "White European Culture" as if a region with fifty nations and nearly a billion people have one culture.
    • Then they try to talk about "Western European Culture" and start talking about Greek tragedies and philosophy. Don't know much about Greece either apparently (hint you can walk to Turkey from there).
    • Talks about public schools only teaching from a non-European perspective, clearly he doesn't know anything about schools. (Maybe, maybe it is different in Canada but the track record so far isn't earning the benefit of a doubt)
    • Talks about "Raza" without knowing what it actually means.

Judging from the pretty profound ignorance displayed so far, one has to suspect that ST's difficulty getting into teaching school may not be as grounded in affirmative action as he or she seems to think.

On a side note: I always did think it was funny that Mexicans, who speak a European language and have stronger ties to their European history than most of the US, are considered a threat to the great, "white" European culture. How did that happen you suppose? Who decides what is white? Is there a great white council out there that goes through all the nations and cultures of Europe to decide which ones are white? Does that mean we have to give up pasta and advanced math? Do we all have to speak Russian now? Or some latin based language? After all, English came from one country in Europe, and even there people always spoke multiple languages. So many questions.

yup, same formula of spew that can be found everywhere in the world. Just substitute a few words for ones appropriate to the region

One thing that did make me wonder...like it always does...Why do people want to be teachers but noone ever says they want to be an instructor?

    You need to understand something.
You are probably talking to the wrong group of people.

Maybe you never hung around with any goth people before.

In *most* goth subcultures, people are all accepted.
Regardless of race, sexual orientation, weight, political views, etc.
It's a very inclusive group. If you got a goth club in any big city,
you will see people crossdressing, lesbians dancing together,
people in polyamorous relationships, swingers, etc. It's a very
open and freaky sub-culture. There are black goths, mexican goths,
white goths, asian goths, and we all get along just fine. There are
very fat people, very skinny people, and everything in-between.
The whole point is that we don't fit in with "normal" society.

So if you can understand that, you should understand that the one
thing we don't generally like, is people who act like they are better
than someone else. We don't generally like skinheads, racists,
and people who have those kind of views. If you are going to
hang out at a goth club, or with goth people, you generally
need to be able to accept everyone else. Even if you think
they are weird, or freaky, or whatever.

So yes, we generally are willing to discuss various political
or social ideas on this message board. But if your main viewpoint
is a white-centric or racist viewpoint, we aren't going to support it,
and you will be wasting your time debating it with us. You'd be better
off on some other message board with impressionable teenagers
    or something...

Are you? It has been exceedingly difficult to tell. Your forum skills are pretty awful, no offense.

I've nothing to add, anyway. You have yet to make a coherent argument, in need of refutation or otherwise.
