Poetry thread?

I was wondering if there would be interest in putting poetry here. Then I thought, what if someone takes a poem, turns it into a song, hits it big, and makes lots of money, that would suck. But wait, wouldn't the fact, that its posted here, prove that its yours, then you get your cut?

So what do you think, are thier poets here?

Would it be safe to post 'em here?

I don't see why not as there's plenty of poetry cafe/forums about...
If not, could always post Gothic poetry that's already published?
Could I suggest The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe?
