    Default i <3 paris

well France in general. i dunno if its just because its not England (we'll go into that another time in another place) or because its everything i thought it could be but i think i might never leave.

I have a sneaking suspicion that I was French in a past life. Something about this whole trip has been like a perversion of a grand homecoming (on acid without the parade and flowers.)

I am definitely coming back. I might even retire here.

Since I'm here for a week, anyone have any suggestions for what I should see/do (other than the obvious)?

For the non-obvious -- try Moroccan food. You can find amazing Moroccan food in Paris. Be careful though because they are not fucking around with their spices and I got a chemical burn from sauce there once. It was soooooooo worth it.

I'm English and I LOooooooooVe France ... seriously the food is freaking amazing. And they wash their hands after using the toilet.

Versailles is amazing ... we took a carriage tour of the place and honestly its one of my favorite vacation memories. That and having a huge fight with my husband under the Eiffel Tower, it was ok though upon looking around at least 5 other couples were having the same argument.

Ed Bangers is just a label, actually the biggest one in this new music gengre that's taking over the world.

It's a crazy mesh up of 70's disco, rock and roll, turntablism, breakbeats, electro, moustaches and all that under distortions.

Artists you should look upon are Justice, Uffie, Busy P, DJ Mehdi, Sebastian, Crazy Baldhead, "Does It Offend You, Yeah?", and of corse the fathers of stile Mr Oizo and Daft Punk.

    It all started in Paris....
