What is your perfect summer night?

I think mine is warm enough to feel relaxed by the heat but not so warm that you can't just leave a window open for air. Warm enough to sweat when you do it but not so warm you get heatstroke. A good rock show and hard liquor on ice.

Definitely a nice breeze going where you feel comfortable and not too warm. By the water if at all possible. Nice frozen fruit drinks with Jose Cuervo Gold tequila shots. Company of cool people... perfect night.

fuck i miss crab feasts... ex boyfriends family go out with their 3 crab nets... (nets? traps? whatever theyre called) bait em up with rancid hot dogs n stuff... pull em in at night and boil up 10 or so red rock crab, and once in awhile a dungeoness if they wander in the net... we all just sit around the campsite table and eat fresh boiled crab by lantern, and try not to eat the moths hehe...

I just had crabs in Maryland and, fuck, but I miss those. Yum yum. They even packed some on ice for me to take on the plane and they shockingly actually kept until I got home.

my ideal summer night is spent on the chesapeake, actually, hanging out on the lawn by the beach. i love the way the breeze feels there, how many more stars seem to shine & yet how much darker the sky is with are no city lights for a hundred miles, the sound of the lighthouse coming faintly across the water with the sweep of the beacon, mingling with the sound of the waves washing on shore.

i just hate the goddamn mosquitoes.

ha ha, if you ever come visit my house on the bay, i promise i will provide you with some crabs. crabbing generally requires either a "crab pot" or a long-handled net, some string, a chicken neck, and patience.

I've gone crabbing. The little basket things are really cool. We used to do it up in Northern California. I've also done a bit of spear fishing when I lived in Hawaii. Crabbing is fun in a sort of Schrodinger's cat trap sort of way.

October... is my perfect summer's night...but since everyday can't be halloween...

laying down on the side of a mountian and watching the milkyway turn... you have to stay up for hours, but it's so much fun...

A relaxing warm night with great people & a BBQ. To be able to sit outside & have someone to hold, people that you can talk to for hours, and a cold drink.

That atmoshere where no one really cares about anything other than just to be there and be relaxed.
