What's The Deal With Your Nic?

Some of them seem obvious, and some don't. I'm curious about a lot of the nicknames here, so i thought i'd start a thread where a person could explain theirs to the rest of us, if one is so inclined.

My nic came about as a result of being frequently accused of being a wee bit dramatic. Heh-heh.

I was engauged to a woman and three weeks before our wedding she was killed in a car wreck...I had been reading about different Demons and ran across Asmodeus...I related to it and so It stuck with me...

The Symbol I use for my Avatar represents the Demon Asmoday...Asmodeus is in one of the 72 Leigions of demons Asmoday commands....

Way back when I first got internet and the dreaded AOL, I was going through this phase where I wanted to be a forensic anthropologist or coroner, so Morgue it was. And the 1313 for the Munster's address "1313 Mockingbird Lane." Well I probably wont be going into forensics anytime, but it stuck with me and its still an interest I still have.

mine comes from a super hero i made when i was about 5-6 yrs old called The Atomic Cow. Sometime during 6th grade i changed its name to a more edgy version which became AtomiKKoW whic turns the c's into k' like in mortal kombat one of my all time favorite video games. I began using this as a screenname evrywhere throuought the net and when i joined this site i decided to add a new twist by adinn a new word changing the name completely .then the first leter that poped into my head that begun with a K was Kill,and so the era of KilLAtomiK had begun.

My old nick, I've been using for years started to annoy me, and I wanted something different. It used to be dragoon, dragoonhuar or dragoonen.. in a few variations. They're all related to Panzer Dragoon

Easy explanation : My first name starts with the letter 'K'...When I was in high school, college and even throughout graduate school, people used to say that I was too cynical all the time...But one of my best friends changed the spelling of it to SYNICUL, because he claimed it read/looked more "girly" . Um, as for the ONE, I think I added the One for the hell of it...no reason, just sounded right when put together K_SyniculOne...There you have it.

I stole mine from my great grandmother. It's Japanese for "Obediant Childe". I liked the way it sounded and it kind of fit my submissive nature to a "t" so I adopted it. I would have taken the last name, too, had I thought anyone would have been able to pronounce it. Kamikuchi means the Voice or the Mouth of God, or poorly translated into Divine Word. As it is enough people can't get Keiko right, (cake-oh) so I just go by K.

Mine is the latin translation of 'one lost and thought dead, later found alive'. The name was appropriate for the time, fitting me and my 'life'. (The first part 'Enoch' is also biblical)

Mine comes from watching waaaaaay too much "Star Trek: The Next Generation" Admired the klingon race very much and started going to Sci-fi conventions, needed a character name and Koolagh sounded klingon enough. When I started working for the Renaissance festivals as a barbarian, needed a name, koolagh seemed to fit, and now 7 years later, everyone I know still calls me Koolagh.

I got mine whe I was a punk kid and use to do silly things..hey wait..I still do silly things! anyhow it was given to me after I decided to replicate the feats i saw on old hardcore vidoes like Gorrila Buiscuits and Minor Threat and the kids would jump and do flips of the speakers...unfortuneatly there was never enough people so I met floor more then once
