Is Christmas when you spend time with family or when you spend time being pissed off about family-related issues?
I have family stuff all weekend. Today, to my grandparents (my mom's side) and to my moms. Tomorrow to my dads, christmas day at my inlaws. Busy Busy Busy
Sorry, my Christmas is supposed to be 7th of January. Ask me then.
I went to my parent's for sunday lunch (which turned into an informal Christmas lunch, since I won't be going there on the day.) I'll be spending the actual day with my wife at her mother's. I avoid my parent's on the day, since I have 5 siblings, who each have partners, and there are 5 nieces and nephews. That's 15 people, not including my parents, in a 3 bedroom house.I am not going to add myself and my wife to the equation.
Me and Rob and his mom and his aunt 2 uncles, a cousin, significant others, four cats, two lizards and a bunny all in the same house tomorrow night. Luckily the Elf still thinks I'm in Europe. My Dad is in Colorado and my grandparents are in Ohio or we'd do a big holiday thing which might just make me stab a few things. (I realyl don't think I could take my Aunt for more than a day)

yep...along with a long drive, but it's only once a year so it's cool
neither. I have been alone on xmass eve and day off and on for the last ten years.
This is my first year alone on new year's night, and i´m planning to switch year at 120 mph if I can make it match.
On christmas it´s with the familly and then I don´t know.
its christmas time! yay! and what am i doing to celebrate it? i cleaned my room, listened to tool, ate half a pizza for breakfast and enjoyed the complete lack of personal contact as all my family are elsewhere
Not for me. All my family is miles away.
... i just had a horrid though. my aunt and rob's aunt -- getting along. the too most drama inducing opinionated busybodies i've ever met under the same roof. <shudder> I can't wait till next week when the "family togetherness time" ends and i can go back to ignoring the extended family for another 295 days. greedy beggars, only come 'round when there's gifts to be had.

I'm a pagan with Jewish friends and some Christians in the family, so this tends to be a frkn busy, fkd up, fun month for me.
