*chuckle* The Forbidden Zone is famous in our circle. A friend of mine ran across it and showed it to everyone. The alphabet song is ftw in every way. My local video store has shut down however, and I can't run out and find the Last Dragon. I could use to see that again!

I also love almost all bad vampire movies. I love to troll the sale bin for anything vampire. They're all fantastic.

Oh! I think Kentucky Fried Movie and UHF deserve places on the list of wonderful bad. <3

Also, The Hunger : The TV series is awesomely bad. Its got David Bowie narrating an 'alt culture' heavy Twilight Zone rip off.

A friend of mine used to have a contest with me to find the worst films in the video shop about 15 years ago. We watched Bad Taste, Trick or Treat, Scanners, Brain Dead, Lobster Man from Mars and Killer Clowns from Outer Space.

ok, this is supposed to be about awesomely bad movies.

Escape From New York is just awesome awesome.

and Manos is bad bad. that movie suuucks. In fact it is frequently debated between that and Plan 9 for which is the worst movie ever.

Actually thgey should fight for 2nd and third, because neither one is the worst movie ever. I forget the name of the worst movie ever, but i'll let you know when find out.

so on this list should be

    Gleaming the cube

    Garbage Pail Kids

and just barely Zardoz, althought that is almost pushing it to bad bad. a few scenes save it.

oh yeah, and Buffy the vampire slayer.

Meet the Feebles is hilarious, I love that when they show the audience you can see the people holding up the cut outs, its great!

Dead Alive, one of my favorite movies. Same with They Live.

I have almost all those movies.

These all have some type of cheese factor to them, but I love em all:

    Flash Gordon
    Piranha
    Basket Case
    Thrashin'
    Little Shop of Horrors
    Ernest Goes Camp/Jail/School/Scared Stupid, etc.
    Ice Cream Man
    2000 Maniacs
    Westworld
    Prisoners of the Lost Universe

I'll have to go through my movie collection for more...

Nice choices, I have most of them. In fact I even got the PAL version of Flash just so I could hear the alternate commentary that isn't on the US version. Speaking of Flash, a good double feature would include Flesh Gordon. Piranha could be paired with Humanoids From The Deep, Little Shop of Horrors would go well with Please Don't Eat My Mother, Westworld always goes well with either Omega Man, Soylent Green or Logans Run and Basket Case could either be paired with Brain Damage, Frankenhooker or Street Trash

Night of the demons: horrible acting, 1988 goth chick hosts a party in a haunted house, REALLY bad jokes, horrible sound track = priceless.

Dead Alive is priceless too. And Meet the Feebles. Peter Jackson at his best.

Mind Warp: it's post-apocalyptic Bruce Campbell and cannibals.

And worse movie of all time: Wendigo (2001). Two hours of my life completely lost forever.

Better yet, Linnea Quigley sticking the stick of lipstick in her nipple when she's possessed. God I love that movie.

And Mr. Mironiuk reminded me on another thread....

Love at First Bite & Zorro the Gay Blade. Even though I know he's seen both, I just HAD to add those.

IT'S ALIVE is a great bad movie! If you haven't heard of it, it's a horror movie about the "next evolutionary" step in Human development. Killer Babies!

The best one (meaning the crappiest) was the 3rd one called Island of the Alive, where the babies have 'grown up' and had killer babies of their own.
