FWIW- Reading through Bat's posts, and through some of the threads (particularly the laugh fest that is the Burning Man thread- For a while I was confused and wondering if there was a "bowel movement" thread somewhere that I had missed) I can see from Bat's point of view why he feels the way he does, and how it makes sense to him.

I've always thought that Amelia, and Forrest were weirdos, and very particular in how they view things, and conversations- in different individual ways though- but having known them only through their posts here, I've never seen any real malice in their reactions to folks. I started this thread about moving everything here back to our normal intelligent and not overly-sensitive conversation. I did, however, in my opening post, point out that we have only had one banning incident in all of the years Blue Blood has been online and that it did not stem from forum behavior. I did not make some kind of solemn oath to never ban anyone ever. In point of fact, I stated clearly that it had already happened on one occasion before.

Even when you did your self-loathing troll stunt years ago, you were not banned, just asked why you would do such a thing and asked to pick a single account. You explained that you would do such a thing because you like Blue Blood, but you and your girlfriend are both "self-loathers".

I admit that I don't really get the troll personality type. I feel like, if a person experiences self-loathing, that person should take steps to become a better human being. I founded Blue Blood in 1992 partly to celebrate sorts of people who sometimes go uncelebrated but who deserve it. I never had any intention of pandering to people who hate themselves, want to continue hating themselves, and want other people to join in hating them.

I suppose you could still explain what you mean about Blue Blood's "benevolent OC fascism" if you feel like communicating, but I see little likelihood of you coming up with any real logic beyond the self-hatred you have already expressed having for yourself. If you do not feel like communicating, here is the deal: if you do not wish to decide that you want to be a member of this community and continue to post according to the reasonable and free terms of service . . . you can admit that you are only here to be a nuisance and would like to be the first person banned for forum behavior and we'll be glad to accommodate, if that will really be such an awesome boost to your self-esteem.
