Does the way you dress change your attitude.. for me it does.. when i am "gothed-out" I am way different than when say I am "thugged" out, I know that when I am in my costumes I am totally different.. but in normall everday dress.. does it change your outlook on life for that time you are wearing those clothes?

When I'm decked out in my gothy best I feel more confidant? social? spooky? When I'm just going to the store, I feel invisible. When I'm dressed to impress at work I feel more professional than my Peers. So yeah, what i wear does effect my mood.

No. If I dress professionally (office attire), I feel stupid and caged up. Like I am hiding something (yeah, like 1000000000000000000 tattoos). It isn't me, and I no likey the money suit.

I don't know... but I like to dress agresive... inany ways, even when I'm nice, casual nice for school I'm agressive with colors or something iritating that draws your attention... it's all about my mood if I dress like homeless or ultra hyper raver or sadistic freak...

I change my style after my mood

    not mood after my style

but yeah when im wearing my work clothes... (little caesars t-shirt and tan pants) i feel like... boring :S not weird enough. although my work pants are comfy as hell... maybe ill buy another pair and turn them into ultra hyper raver pants!

I am retracting my last post... I meant "yes". Haha, long, shitty day.

In reference to the monkey suit... I feel like an uncomfortable piece of shit in office attire... because it is not me.
Even when I'm at home in crappy clothes, I hate it and feel like a big goon. Again, not me.
I feel 'at home' when I'm all girdled up and have my stockings and heels on.
I basically dress one way... so when I'm not being a square or looking like hell, I am just normal Tayva.

once went to a goth nightclub done up as Pinhead, from the Hellraiser films. i had a mask i'd made, a face-shaped wire grid with faux nails poking out from the intersections. it was a little odd; standing at the rails of a raised section over the dance floor, i was wondering what the dancers would look like, hanging from hooks..

welllll that just proves how dumb the media is. and almost everyone else, really...

i actually got this bulletin on ******* once... (yeah yeah ******* whore i know hehe) sent out as a catholic church newsletter, "how to tell if your child is a goth" or something like that... there was like 100 reasons or so... i dont remember all of them, but some were really fucked up, like if your kid is eating count chocula cereal, he may worship satan.
okay... count chocula is my FAVORITE cereal... i dont worship satan... WHAT THE FUCK!!
i wish i could find that newsletter again... if anyone finds it... PLLEEEASE post it please please... it was so fucking funny and sad and pathetic at the same time... hehee

whoa! i see more and more of these girlies hanging on hooks these days.

anyway, it is my attitude that dictates how i dress and not the other way around. if i feel all mellow and like going to the beach, i am not going to put on a rubber skirt and platform boots-know what i mean??

I'd be dissapointted in myself otherwise.

Jokes aside that really is a beautiful image...mainly cause it's the full body thing with hooks everywhere. I am in awe...any other pictures from when you did that? I'd love to see em.

well when I dress up (like for banquets, formals and such) I don't really feel any different. I guess mainly it's because of my attitude.

I gotta say-- not me. I'm pretty much a sarcastic, vulgar little ass-tumour with a penchant for sudden bouts of linguistic slapstick (You know. Like my 'impotent announcement.' I'd like to apologise for that little burst)... what I'm wearing doesn't affect it, not suit and tie nor blackest of the black.

i usually dress according to how i feel that day, although i tend to wear all black no matter what.... i got told the other day by a customer at work that "out of all the people i've seen that dress in whatever way you call what you wear, you pull it off the best"... i also got told by someone else that i was "a work of art"... *shrugs*

oh, and jax, nice suspension pic... but all pics of you are lovely..

Usually my dress reflects my current mood. Unless I'm dressing up for something specific. Although these days usually I'm going for comfort for my walk to work. Lately I've been all about looking baby butch and mean. Not that it's much of a stretch but that's been my mood.

Absolutly...When I am going to a business interview and I am in my suit and tie I feel Very confident and ready for anything that they throw at me..

When I am wearing my dark cloths I feel very powerful and ready to take on anyone, kind of a take on the world attitude...

So yeah I do believe that the cloths make the person and influence the wearers state of mind....
