Well, as far as water goes, we just put it from the tap; normally cold, but hot water probably won't spoil it. Oh, and the electric kettles are called, well, kettles.
Ceramic or metal? I'm going ceramic-- but then, I've never seen a metal tea-pot. Are you sure it's not a type of kettle?
Also, if you want, I can see if I can ship you an electric kettle over there, completely stuffed with tea-bags. I'd have to ask for P&P, but as it's nearing christmas, I'd do the wares for free.
That's it, and electric kettle!! Those things are great!!! That is really sweet of you!Originally Posted by skintwisterman

Whatever strikes my fancy at the time, or if I hear/see/smell something that reminds me of a song. I know quite a few, so it seems to happen often.Originally Posted by Toe Cutter

you can get some lovely steel teapots, and many a factory i've worked in has those giant tin ones. then there's the metal camping ones, but they stew it to buggery.
i mostly drink PG tips brand orange peako, didnt know it was considered english tea though, its the least expensive here other then the yucky no-name brand stuff.Originally Posted by MistressJennifer
we also keep lots of herbal teas around like jasmine and black current.
OK I FINALLY found some Assam, and I am drinking it for the first time, right now! Very nice!!Originally Posted by skintwisterman
It was VERY expensive, and only one company made it, Twinings doesn't have it in most USA stores, this cost about $7.00 for 15 tea bags... But it is very nice....
Oh I love jasmine. You know it's kind of hard to find jasmine recently. I have to try the health food stores... I have this jasmine oil, two kinds, American and Asian. My boyfriend loves jasmine...Originally Posted by morbid_lady

Jasmine? Pfft. Herbal teas aren't real tea. most of 'em don't even HAVe tea in them! XD They're technically 'brews'. Tea is a brew ^^Originally Posted by MistressJennifer
