Holy shot you people have been through some gnarly experiences!!! I can't compete, I have never had anything really traumatic happen to me that was not self inflicted. Here's my lame story.
When I got my tongue pierced the first time, it was in the back of a homeless woman's van. She clamped my tongue, and pushed the needle through. Then comes the part where they stick the jewelry through. Basically they allign the two pieces and then guide the barbell through the hole. Halfway through my tongue the needle and the jewelry slipped apart, and I could feel her poking around and trying to realign them. After a few seconds (which seemed like hours I might add) my vision started to black out, and all I could see was tunnel vision. I know you wouldn't think that a little piercing could be so painful, but it was!
