I finally finished my backpiece. I'll post a picture later, I need it to heal for a couple days to let the skin irritation/redness go away some. It only took about 17 hours combined over 6 years (2 of which spent deployed).

awesome, can't wait to see it.
did you reenlist or join late?
Worse, 6 year initial contract. It's pretty much the standard for aviation jobs. I'm down to a year and a half left....
well that's not too bad. I know how it sucks to have an unfinished tattoo...
but then I guess you always feel that way, because once you get started on one you're thinking about the next one.
Damn, I was unhappy that it took me a few months before my 12 hours of tattooing was done, I can't imagine waiting six years! You must post a pic soon, I love seeing other people's ink, especially large pieces
Part of it was that I had to piece it together since I've never been big on planning. Plus, I took care of my sleeves in that time too.
sounds awesome im excited to see
Yeah, sorry it took so long for me to put this up. I actually just took it. I'm bored out of my mind. I'm recovering from PRK (a type of refractive eye surgery) so I can't really leave my room because lights suck. Even now I have the brightness for my tv and laptop all the way down just to be able to tolerate it.
But yeah, here's the finished backpiece.
Oh yeah, also, since my truck died I had to go buy another vehicle. So, while I'm waiting on my new 13B rotary engine to come in to drop in my truck, I bought this.
yep, those eye surgury's a bitch for a few days, but it's a miracle.........the tatoo pics cool, but it's a bit blurry
