I'm sending someone to the 24 hour place right now. Kellie, you are so hot.
great shoot. but I couldn't help but laugh/ be disgusted at the use of a nazi symbol (the iron cross) with an american flag inside of it.
The Iron Cross predates the Nazi's. It's an honor awarded in the German Military.
you should have just told him "hop back in your volkswagen its not nazi related"Originally Posted by Tequila Zaire

I knew that someone was going to point that out... I am aware of that, but it was still used by the nazis.

Yea, my grandpa ( or as we called him "paw paw") had his iron cross award, for marksmenship, welded into his cane. He was really proud of it.Originally Posted by AmeliaG
Great set and while the bike is a nice peice of workmanship I gotta admit I like the outfits Kellie has on much much better...she really looks like she's one with the machine though doesn't she? You usually don't get such a nice mix...
If only all female biker gangs roamed the earth lookin and dressing like that...someone needs to make that happen.
Well I am going to step outside what is my normal behavior for these here boards and say congratulations Kellie. While I have never read that magazine personally I am sure that it is a fine magazine and is a great accomplishment to be featured in its pages. So to you I say congratulations and give you for getting featured in the magazine.
Well time for things to get back to normal

That shot by the elevator, with the old lady is absolutely priceless. In more ways than one. I would put that one up on my wall it's so perfect.
Yea, that was such a funny day. It was at a convention, I was passing out fliers. And the old lady was waiting on the same elevator as me and my photographer friend, Tim Dolph. He instantly started saying " wow, I had a really good time with you, next time Im in Atlanta Ill be sure to ask for you and no one else!" And he handed me money. We were laughing so hard. When we went to get on the same elevator a few hours later, the same little old lady was waiting again. So he grabbed a photo.Originally Posted by Evilbink

Excellent pictures and as someone so rightly pointed out-superb balance between machine and mechanical look of the outfit. You look amazing!Originally Posted by kellie

People used the Swastika before the Nazis too, shall we protest about that?Originally Posted by Morning Glory
Now, let's talk more about how hot Kellie looks in the photos... !
yes. we should. what's wrong with you? you want to sport the swastika?
as a matter of fact there was allready a thread about that, that said every statement of historical signifigance brought up in this thread and much much more:http://blueblood.net/boards/showthre...ight=nazi+flag
Please re-read my post (or simply read it properly for the first time)...it says people used the swastika before (meaning, prior to) the Nazis, indeed before the Nazis ever existed...they did not use it as a symbol of evil and anti-semitism, but rather it was a symbol of light and good fortune. The chief difference is that the Nazi swastika is flipped and tilted at 45 degress, giving it a 'diamond' shape, whilst the original Sanskrit Swastika is a flat square.Originally Posted by Morning Glory
Here's a link explaining it, with a great metaphor about Hello Kitty in it. Some Iron Crosses too....
http://www.rotten.com/library/imagery/swastika/
The swastika is also used as a symbol of light and to ward off evil in Dennis Wheatley's 'The Devil Rides Out', wherein, most ironically, it is used to protect a jewish character from evil.
Also, to answer your questions, no, I don't want to 'sport the swastika', and there's nothing wrong with me (that I'm currently aware of), thanks for asking.
I take it that you will be boycotting Frank Miller's Sin City (and by extension, all of Miller's work) because Miho has a swastika shuriken? It's just that I don't seem to recall you saying anything about it on any of the Sin City threads you've posted in?
Surely a swastika shuriken beats an Iron Cross on the knee-jerk reactionary scale, doesn't it? Be sure to write letters of complaint to the hispanic Robert Rodriguez, asian Devon Aoki, and jewish Weinstein brothers while you're at it...let them know you're onto their insidious plans for a Fourth Reich, and you're not standing for it!!!
Numerous Asian comics have swastika's in them as well...Dark Horse even use to print lil explanations about them in various series they would bring over, most notably in early versions of Blade of the Immortal (monthly edition).
Native American's also sport it...hell the historic street lamps in my home town sport em at the base and have since prior to WW1...
For me it's like this...a society MUST take back ALL the images perverted by the Nazi's...especially one with such a long and important history like the Swastika. Can't let those fucks keeps it.
We took back the black, red, & white color scheme...so I think we can take back a symbol used by a regime that didn't last even a % of the symbols history. Plus the nazi's used it for what basicly amounted to Hitler's sense of graphic design..he thought it looked "cool" so to speak. You see numerous sketches of his designs for the flag. He saw the image in a church of all places...
Hypnotic, why don't you read MY post. That was unneccesary.
I agree with you Tequila, but it's difficult to seperate a symbol and what that symbol stood for. Although we should never forget it, I think that those that lived through it want to bury the past.
It goes back to the issue of the confederate flag. I don't think that is a symbol that should be honored because it was a symbol that stood for the worst facets of humanity, despite it's symbolism as cultural history and tradition.
there's a reason that people feel so passionatly about symbols other than just for their artistic merits. that's the reason why flag burning is such a reactionary spectacle.
The danger in burying it is that we easily forget and repeat it. But some distance is needed to heal and go on...what bugs me is Europe banning the symbol and the Nazi's used it...no better way to make something even MORE powerful than by saying you can't use it.Originally Posted by Morning Glory
I guess it's just about the context then, I definetly don't think that we should ban it, it should be shown in museums and other places for educational purposes as well as to show the positive roots of it. but people should just use common sense. even under the best intentions, if you have it tatooed or fly the flag in front of your yard, you're just going to piss people off.
Whoo-hoo! Kellie sure is beautiful and it sure is cool that she is in the current issue of The Horse magazine!
PS If someone wants to start a thread about the merits of various symbols being used or banned, I'm totally into that discussion, just think this thread is getting a little OT.
Kellie, I like the black hair on you better for some reason. What's your natural color...that blondish/brown?
Thats a nice spread though...did you get to ride the bike? (can you ride?)
LOL...that old lady is looking at you in that pic in your album like 'wtf has this world come to? ' ROTFL

Having now read your post, I agree my response was a little over-the-top, but what baffles me is your initial response when you clearly knew the pre-Nazi history and lineage of these symbols already?Originally Posted by Morning Glory
But enough of all that, it's water under the bridge as far as I'm concerned...as Amelia says, lets talk about how f'n hot Kellie is...something I feel we can definitely agree upon!
I think picture#2, with a reclining Kellie, just about shades it IMHO !
