Okay so Rob and I are always ragging on his mom who htinks ketchup is spicy. She bought us this set of hot sauces so everyone can enjoy her cooking. (otherwise it's good, but terribly bland) the first three were fairly good. the fourht was this sauce called "Sudden Death". three drops nearly killed me. an entire pint of sweet tea, half a gingerale, two spoonfulls of sugar and half a carton of milk later and it still burned. Even my tummy burns.

Anyhoo about half an hr later I rubbed my eye. I think I might be going blind in my left eye.

I hate hot sauces that are just hot and have no flavor.

Yeah, I kind learned the same way not to touch my eyes or lips after I have touched anything that has had a hot sauce put on it until I wash my hands, thoroughly.

I would say try a 7 alarm hot sause to see if the ol gut can handle it.

No catually it didn't taste very good at all. Which was depressing. I like FLAVOR wiht my "take hte roof off your mouth" THis stuff, before my tastebuds died, didn't taste very good at all.

7 alarm isn't too bad. but for flavor reasons I usually stick to about a 4/5. Around 7 usually just gets bitter. The only real exception to this rule is Demon Chilli at Chilli My Soul in Sherman Oaks, CA. Nice flavour and THEN it drop kicks you into burning hell. Fabulous.

What really sucks about getting hot sauces on your hands - even just tabasco- sometimes, even if you wash throughly with soap you ned up wiht a little bit in a cuticle. And then 20 min later, when the capsisium (spicy element) eats throught your skin your finger starts to burn.

Though I've learned that Sudden Death goes well on human flesh.

Another upside to destroying my most delicat organs and etc - what ever ick was building up to make me sicker than sick is gone now.

Wel hot peppers garlic and ginger do lower colesteral (or however it's spelled) so I wouldn't be suprised if they killed bacteria and generic ick. Also known to clear sinuses and make your eyes water.

oh yeah, spicy stuff is REALLY great for de-snotting!
and yeah garlic rocks for colds and flu crap... didnt know ginger was, but i guess so cause its related to garlic isnt it?
