What makes me feel special is having someone that is thinking about me,like calling on your birthday or just calling or emailing now and then to say hello,nothing material really but its always nice to get presents..

I feel special when someone says something nice to me or when my bf tells me i look pretty..

when I see two people treat each other as human beings, instead of promoting sexism and using abuse derogatory comments. ya know it's just nice to hear once in a while, hey I appreciate you because you are a person with feelings not an object for my anger or sexual toy or support for emotional inadequacy. We all seem to have evolved past racism, but can't yet seem to overcome all the conditioned bullshit that we've been taught to distiniguish about the differences that don't really exist between men and women. when someone takes a personal step to overcome that and puts it in effect, that's what makes me feel good.
