She is the kind of person who does something really nice for a group of people, but cant elave it at that... she has to tell everyone what she did for them, what they should do for them, and why we are bad for not supporting her charity... then she exploits them on her show to improve ratings.

She seems like a pretty decent person from what I've heard in terms of her charity work and her support of authors who would otherwise go unrecognized. But chick programming tends not to speak to me so I've never seen her show.

I kind of dislike that she called her magazine O, when there was already an <<O>> Magazine for the fetish world.

She impresses me to no end and I have much respect for her due to her various charity efforts that are nothing short of epic. She came from nothing really and rose up to not only surprise many in the usually all white upper echelons of the buisness world but also showed what a strong woman can really do. She's not exactly one of many either...she's one of the few black women with that kind of stature and also one of the few of ANY minority to rise so high in wealth, fame, and influence.

I may not be a fan of her mag and show...but I do think she's rather amazing.
