Yay for Value Village! They supply half my wardrobe. My favourite second-hand item of clothing has got to be one of my coats... prolly the vinyl-snakeskin patterned trenchcoat. $13, and a good find. Or a full length velvet dress I found once.

I work at Savers/Value Villiage and my wardrobe has more than tripled. Hmmm, best find...

Thigh high vinyl 5 inch heels, that after my discount were $4.
Almost the entire set of WWII Time Life books, missing 2.
    Numerous 50's housewifey dresses.
Too many leather jackets to count, most were $.99
Antique Jesus art for my collection, we get some of the coolest shit in.

I love thrifting, probably alittle too much.

I love shopping secondhand stores for clothes. I found an ankle length, really full, black silk skirt for $10. That's probably my favorite find.

Ebay is also good for such things. You can find some really good deals there, although buying clothes on ebay can be tricky with sizing.

I got a very nice pair of boots that would have been 30 dollars and I paid less then 15 bucks in a Goodwill in Delaware.

Added note: Second hand stores are great for when you want to make clothes or costumes. That is what my mother does.

I've gotten some really great stuff from Goth Auctions. And I LOVE going to a place here called The Red Light, used and vintage clothes. There's a couple of pretty good Value Villages nearby too. I think the best thing ever I got second hand is my three quarter length vintage leather coat. My friend was working in a vintage store and sold it to me for 8 bucks.
