Default legendary uk dj john peel dead

very sad news that john peel has died of a heart attack, this man was a radio pioneer playing heaps of bands that most wouldnt play and put out heaps of "john peel sessions" albums.
anyone into english music should mourn the death of a great man, because without him most "alternative" music wouldve never been played on radio. just have a look at the peel sessions and see how many bands hes played over the years.

Rest in peace...those peel session albums are quite popular since they tend to capture bands in a way none ever did...very real and with genuine pulse of interest and fun.

    He'll be missed.
