Default Camera that use's Lasers to capture insects

I just thought this was a neat thing! This guy built himself a laser that can take pictures of moving insects (mostly bee's and whatnot)
but he built it all by scratch and put up the blueprints for anybody else who wants to make thier own

Anywho the below page is his website and the second is the gallery

Look at the sample shots though...makes even a common bug look amazing.

That's what I thought when I had to do a science project a few years back now...it's not quite that simple. Set up has a lot to do with it to grab shots of something that small, in motion, and with the right amount of light.

My hats off to the guy for making something that works for what he's after...look carefully at some of those shots...the bugs are in the air. That's what impressed me about them...

Usually it's the cliche "bee on a flower" stuff.

That is pretty cool ...But it is Very obvious to me that this man needs to get out more....Maybe even get laid till his toes curl and he talks in tongues..

But yeah..I guess if you wanted some pics of Bees and other insects..That would be the way to go...

ok your right i was thinking about the bee on a daisy type picture, still seems like alot of work just for some pictures of bugs, cameras were invented for naked people
