Nothing! It was given to a bail bond company, and the dude that owns it gave it to his kid. The kid doesnt want it;]

That rules! What are you going to do to it.

    Itldvl 502 idea sounds interesting.
I used to have a '68, bus. I loved that thing.

So what year? You waiting for more guesses?

You can do so much with one of those little cars...Engine rebuilds cost around $100 to completly rebuild.....The are very easy to find parts for...And all in all I think they look cool when finished...

    some cool lookin bugs

And if you want to get serious about it look for VW club meetings and car shows go to them and usually VW owners are willing to help with anything you have probs with.,....also good place for swapmeets...

Yeah... it looks like a '74 or later...

The tail-lights are the way to tell.
The big round ones were on the last beetles.
    The "Super-beetles" , etc...

The ones in the late 60's had smaller tail-lights...

My first car was a 62 bug. I made it into a baja bug, because it was so rusty.
    It was a mess.

But yes, parts are really cheap, they are cheap on gas, and they can look pretty cool.
    Not very fast though...

Congrats Jax...I look forward to the results! Remember to add some sort of flame thrower.

All cars need a flame thrower. Least that's what I think.

as much as i love throwers....putting them on any car is stressfull on valves and can shorten engine life by up to half(i'm not shitting you)...

back in the ol'days only the Kustoms did it because they were all about cruising around the malts and shit...

and they shot flames by getting it rolling pretty good in gear then shutting it down and starting it again...it causes a backfire that woulf explode any mufflers/cats(this only works on straightpipes) and shot flames...

Hotrodders hated it,and it was done By the Kustom guys being assholes to be assholes....

    sorry for the history lesson,haha...

but yea putting throwers on a VW is a really bad idea,as if it doesn't hurt your engine enough on a normal car,it really hurts VW's...

if your gonna do it,you really shouls look into a seperate injection system, which would be a whole fuck of a lto less damage ,but it would also let you shoot some fuckign MASSIVE flames....
