Im sure some have heard of the breakup drink before? this is the alcoholic drink one drinks when they have broken up wiht someone to either forget about or help numb out he pain of a break up, right? and then there's different degrees of said drink. the last time i broke up with someone, they were worth a forty ounce, this time around, I have decided to just get plastered and am going with my archnemesis, tequilla. my question is, which is the best brand to pick?

now, I dont wanna go spending over thirty bucks so that limits the selection but so far, I have been told to go with cuervo 1800 and cuervo gold and that with curevo gold to go with th elightest shade you can find, any addons to this question excluding that im an immature jerk or an asshole?

i dont remember what its called..but theres a tequila that goes for 150-200$ a shot, just because the bottle alone is imported from France and costs 600$.

cuervo 1800 would be my choice for a less than $30 bottle of tequila... lots of lemons, a decent grade of sea salt... find a good friend, and make toasts as fast as you can!

stay away from the cuervo gold, and go with the 1800. this is from a guy who won't spend less that $65 on a bottle of tequila.... the more you pay, the less it hurts.

i'm a former tequila drinker, and 1800 was my brand.

i used to drink cuervo 1800, until i started paying more for my tequila, then i never went back.

thanks for the advice. I was kinda tryign to stay awya form cabo wabo simply cus of the sammy haggar referenc eot it but sounds good. will try. do you need to go off the clarity test with it too like with cuervo or is it pretty consistent bottle to bottle?

I know I thought the same thing, cause my aunt is a sammy haggar groupy and she follows him all over the u.s. (its so fucking stupid, shes 45). But one year when we went camping she brought some cabo wabo, and shes like, this is sammys tequila, I was thinking...omg he made a fucking tequila..its gonna be shitty. But it is really super smooth and ooooh so good.. But then I thought, well yeah I guess you gotta be really fucking drunk to sing music like that!

Might I also suggest, cut the top off of a milk jug, fill the jug with water then put the teq. in it, then freezing it. so when you pull the jug off, you have a bottle in an ice block with just the neck sticking out....makes drinking a whole bottle of tequila bareable

My favorite is Centenario. It costs about a hundred bucks for the bottle, but It is by far the best tequilla out there. It has an angel on the label, that's usually how I find it, because It's not exactly easy to find, and usually nobody knows what I'm talking about untill I mention the label. But it sure is tasty.
