If you don't know the web address of a picture you want to post, right click on the picture and select "Properties". Then Copy & Paste the whole http// code.

or you can click the *go advanced* option on the bottom of the message where you type and there is a little button with a mountin on it..click that and it will do it for you all you need to do is tell it where the photo is located

www.photobucket.com its free and they provide you with cut and paste links for the pics with the code for forums

uh, no. the image has to be on a web server. on the web. not sitting on your hard drive. unless you want to try installing a windows-compliant web server, remaining online forever and distributing it that way.

Actually, our email boxes are pretty constantly under attack. They have been for the last few years. Anytime we make a new email account and put it out there, it pretty quickly gets the same treatment. If we post a model call for a given city and post a brand new email address for booking, it gets mailbombed whenever the trip or event is close, etc. On the flipside, they also bomb AOL, Yahoo, etc. with gobs of random crap spam with our return email addresses forged so we periodically get blocked and can't email anybody who is using those services for their mail. That can be cleared up, but it's work, and we end up having to do it frequently. It's difficult to know how best to handle it, but I guess some competitive folks feel it's reasonable to try to attack our ability to communicate with people. It gets frustrating sometimes.

You should see the mailbox I have to go through for my job... I use Eudora to as my mail file system. But it is funny to see the messages, and how many I get from "Script-Kitty's". It is a pain in the ass to wade through all of the crap to get to the stuff I need.. I am usually wading through 1000 - 2500 spam messages a week.. and that is with 4 spam filters running.

Actually, our email boxes are pretty constantly under attack...

So why not revert to form-based inbound and verifiable replies - we've been using it for the last 5 years and are spam-free and blacklist-proof despite every fan and his dawg wanting to get hold of our address.

- initial contact via one-time-verifiable website form
- delivered to our private address
- replies sent quoting a public reply-to address and unique header tag
- inbound MTA registers the tag to original recipient, rejects any mismatched traffic at our mail boundary
- SPF records prevent mimics triggering a blacklist
