My husband and I want to go on a fantastic vacation soon. We were looking for ideas. Anyone have any fantastic spots? A means to save a lot cash would be nice too. Vacationing is pricey these days.

I went camping in Minnesota recently. Was fun. They all drive around in these souped up golf carts (there is no golfing though heheh)

I just got back from Jamaica this morning. It's my third time going, I love that place. I was able to get round trip flight for less than 400 bucks too.

Heard from a friend that going out of tourist area there is a not so smart.

Scene at the local fish market in Jamaica.

Friend: How much is a fish?
Jamaican: 20$
Friend: Hahahaha... Wtf, 20 bucks?
Jamaican: Yes, 20$ *slowly starts pulling out a machete*
Friend: Of course *buys the fish for 20$*

Well... told him not to play tough outside of his area.

As I said, it's my third time going and I've never had to deal with any problems even though I stay in downtown Kingston and nowhere near the tourist parts. Sure, you could say it's because my friend I'm staying with is Jamiacan but he's also really light skinned and between the two of us the worst we've had to deal with is a couple beggars and a couple assholes talking about "hey look at the white boys!"

Well... should mention that this friend of mine was trouble seeking person with typical mediterranean charm so from point of view of many people he definitely deserved it.
