    Default good investment

If you had purchased $1000 of shares in Delta Airlines one year ago you will have $49.00 today.

If you had purchased $1000 of shares in AIG one year ago you will have $33.00
    today.

If you had purchased $1000 of shares in Lehman Brothers one year ago you will
    have $0.00 today.

But if you had purchased $1000 worth of beer one year ago
drank all the beer then turned in the aluminum cans for
recycling refund you will have received $214.00.

Based on the above the best current investment plan is to drink
heavily & recycle. It is called the 401-Keg.

Some other dude thought of this, not me. I'm just passing it on. thought you'd get a kick out of it.

works for Sprite too, if you are so inclined.

But you have to be committed for the long term.

I think that i would rather put my money in Midget Farming. Not so much on the beer, because i can't get Micro-brews in Tampa.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't the $214 return come from the deposit you paid anyway? That's not really income, that's a no interest loan to the state. You are not going to gain anything from that plan. Not on a good day or a bad day. People have however, made lots of money investing in every one of those other companies. There are still many stocks you could put your money in today and get a profitable return, it's just trickier with the bears instead of bulls.

May I add. If you purchase 1000$ of shares in Microsoft now it would be worth 0$ next year about the same date.

You can't make that investing $1,000 in beer though. You have to have someone else invest in the beverages and then you just cash in on the cans.

    Queue cynical analogies . . .

invest on semen, more and more people are looking for an answer to the protein problem, why to have cows or soy plantations when we can use our own proteinfull body fluids?

I find Germans are the one's with the craziest thought process. If my choice is to die or live off semen, yeah...I think I'll be pushin' up the daises. That's just one step away from "Soylent Green"..."They're made of people!".

All living things have protein. If my only choice is semen or say, bugs, I'd be chewing on a juicy grub as we speak. Tribesman seem to have no problem with big ass grubs. I've seen them eating them plenty of times on the idiot box. Saute the fucker with some garlic and butter...Yum yum!

See...Now you have me using a crazy thought process.
