Hmmm, do garlic, onions, wasabi or horseradish bother you? They, along with broccoli, cabbage and all varieties of radish, are in the mustard family. Most of them either high in allicin or sulfer. Maybe it was just eating half a bag at one time.

Know why your eyes water when you cut an onion? Volatile sulfide compounds are released from the onion cells, including methyl disulfide, dimethyl disulfide, dimethyl trisulfide, and n-propyl disulfide. When these compounds dissolve in the fluid covering the eyes, they form sulfuric acid. Tears produced by the stinging sensation only provide more water for the water-soluble sulfur compounds to dissolve in. If this is a problem for you, try submersing the bulbs in water while slicing them.

Come on, mans, no matter HOW high you are there HAS to be something better in the house. Tuna, soya sauce, raisins, bottom-of-freezer age-old bratwurst, whatever.

You have no sympathy. In either case, drink a lot of orange juice. That smothers it totally.
