Don't you think maybe when you get a certain feeling about something or someone, that maybe the dead are talking to you, warning you, or telling you that it's OK?

Maybe the ghosts of your parents or a friend is watching over you and giving you advice. I guess that is sort of what we call "an omen" or "getting a feeling about something".

I swear, when I ignore these omens, it always goes wrong. Listen to the dead, they know what they are talking about!!!

Well since they'd be dead and couldn't really die again...they'd be total pricks and we'd be forced to bury them in sound proof vaults. However I am sure their would be a few standouts and many would be like teachers...it'd be interesting to be in a class taught by Plato or Einstein...or a music class taught by Hendrix and Lennon...interesting possibilities.

I once wrote a story about something like this; some serial killer kid being interviewed by a psychiatrist tells her he keeps seeing the people he's killed, and that it sucks, 'cause he can't kill them again, so they taunt and torture the shit out of him with endless lamentations and mockery.

Think of all of the things you wanted to say to someone who died. Odds are that is exactly the sort of thing the dead would want to tell the living. I love you, I wasn't really that mad at you, it's not your fault, I can explain those pictures in the closet ect. The only thing that makes the dead different from the living is being dead. Maybe someone who has been dead for a good long time might have something new but most people would just want to say goodbye.

I suppose it would depend on what state of decay their brain was in. Freshly dead could have fresh ideas, but if the rats have been munching on their flesh for 50 years, then they would have no brains left and simply mumble or make grunting noises!

I don't know about talking, but I understand they make gross farty noises if they're not embalmed properly.
