How stupid can you get?

I was listening to the radio today, as I was driving along and had the pleasure of hearing a (not unusual with these two presenters) incredibly stupid, brief conversation between them, which made me wonder what everyone else has heard or seen through mass media which makes them ponder over the intellectual qualifications for the job.

Here's my offering:

Discussing that She is going shopping at IKEA.

She: And I need a sheepskin rug
He: Why don't you buy one you can make yourself?

Which now reminds me of a one from Germany:

He: I can imitate the call absolutely any animal that there is, go on, test me. Name an animal and I'll do it for you. Go on.
She: An ant.
