Certain Knowledge vs. Suspicion

Would you rather know something awful or suspect something awful? If you know, then you can actually act and make decisions based on the info. But, if you only suspect, then you don't have to be upset because there is always a chance the awful thing is not the case.

i'd rather know about it, because i could start thinking of a way/scheme to fix it or get out of it......i try not to suspect things unless there is over-welming evidence to the contarary......

if your just suspecting something you often tend to beat yourself up about it becuase you don't know the details or the real facts about,and that's just not a happy way to go about things....

Yeah, even if it turns out that the bad thing is the case, it makes me so happy to know instead of wondering. Otherwise my brain is just whirring away on negativity. Certain knowledge always makes me happier.

yea, on a few rare occasions i have compleatly fucked up my mind extremly over-analizing something based solely on a suspicion, it just isn't a great thing..

although, i think it's neccesary to have at least a little bit of suspicion(like this>-< much,ha) just so you don't look like a fool when something does go down,pending if it DOES go down...

i would rather think something bad is going to happen and then find out its not going to happen!

whenever i KNOW something bad is going to happen it eats and eats at me and i have horrible panick attacks over it...

I'd rather just know, even if it is the worst possible scenario. Suspicion is just unhealthy.

I always try to establish honest relationships.
Even when it is harsh.
That way, both people know, that even if it is not fun,
they will go ahead and tell you what is going on.
I generally will refuse to be involved with someone,
if they are the kind of person who prefers to
"Not mention" important things. If they even
have a history of that, I am not interested.
I would rather have the bad news, and deal with it,
rather than to be kept in the dark, and have it pop
up and surprise me later...

i have learned, the hard way, that there are situations... certain kinds of information... that a person is better off not knowing.

you know when someone says "you really don't want to know this", and you think they're just leading you on.. and it turns out they were right?

an example of this is the word "felch". i think i could possibly have survived in the modern era without knowing this, uh, action, existed.
