My cat had kittens in the hotel room were staying at..unfortunatly she didnt feel comfortable here and had 6 of them in the litter box where they all clumped up together...so we had to snip them apart and for a week theyve been ok..1 of the kittens had the unbiblical cord wrapped around his leg so it cut off the blood pressure and made it pretty much dead..
a few days ago i took him to the vet to see if they had any solutions and they said he'd be fine... by the time i brought him home he died.
yesterday another one of the kittens started having a runny nose i found out that if a kitten thats 1 week old or less has that its most likely a upper resportory infection which means they cant smell..so they dont eat..and its contagious to other kittens..i tried to wipe off his nose last night and wrapped him with a warm bottle of water inside my beanie.. i awoke this morning to find him stiff and dead for at least a few hours.
i cant help but think it was something i did or didnt do.. did i make the water to hot? did we not get to the cord in time to save the other kittens foot? was there not enough nutrition? i dont know.. its just a sad day.. so now were keeping a close eye on the remaining 4 kittens that all seem to be sneezing..

i guess im only writting this to all future kitten owners to watch out for signs of weakness and to get them to the vet asap.

Trully happy for you to have 4 living kittens... Very sorry for the 2 dead kittens...
this summer my kitty gave birth to 4 kittens, all dead - and we hardly saved her own life.. now she's ok, but she'll never get pregnant again...

I hope those 4 will survive and grow healthy - good luck!

yeah, I thought I'd go crazy... but luckily vetz did saved the mom ..and she's all healthy huge and returned to normal...

*sniffle* Oh my is that sad. I'd have turned around and punched the vet after he told me kitty was gonna be okay and then he wasn't. Snuggle all the kitties warm and soft and cover them with hope and love.

awww....that's so sad ):
I love kitties...my cat had a retarded kitty...he wasnt really but he was pretty silly..he'd run down the hallway with one front leg up in the air and fall on his face. We named him roswell because he had these enormous eyes.
anyhow..sorry bout your kitties...they are in kitty "afterlife" now
