    Default Spelling/Grammar

When you are talking to someone online, and there is some level of flirting, is it a turn off when people use poor grammar/spelling? Is it a turn on? Do you do it/notice it/mind it?

No, I don't think I mind. Many times there grammar and online "style" shows a great deal more subtle personality. Of course, if I don't know what they are saying, or there are too many typos, what are you supposed to do when you don't understand what they are saying?

It irks me when these people ar eintelligent people in reality, but come across online as some sort of troglodite.

I always liked when I go to sickanimation.com and they have "Paly" for play. I think there are the kinds of regular slips on the keyboard, "I just can't spell," and my brain, left and right hands just aren't in sync.

Haha. Awesome. I have RA in both hands, so typing isnt as precise a science as it used to be. Im also going through a stage on sleeplessness, so my spelling is suffering. But I excuse all but the worst spelling, because it is really very easy to make a mistake... 8000000 times

A lot of my friends don't speak english as a first language so I just bear with it. I thought it was funny that couldn't spell my first name.

this is a dreadful thing for an anal-retentive grammar nazi to admit, but i'm starting to think that "the" can also be spelled "teh".

feh. the language should be flexible. rather than being monolithic.

Well I usually think that they don't speak English.. I think it is worse when they say something insulting or WORSE send really graphic photos.... That is really alarming and a total turn off. That only happened to me once, which is strange. I would think that I would get a lot more perverts... Most of my fan mail is really nice and polite.
