P.S. I'm not a Seattle Area Folk btw. I don't doubt some of those aren't up to par. If ya wanna hang, I say just do it. I went to a punk bar in Cleveland alone. Left 2 days later as basically a local. I've been to Seattle quite a few times, but it's been days now.

D'oh... didn't see this in time...
    probably because of being busy
    with THIS

But there are always tons of things
to do... although Vogue is now
the Club Blacklight and moved from
11th to 12th in the Capitol Hill Art
    Center. Mercury is member only,
    mostly... umm.. there's El Corazon,
Sunset Lanes (24 hour bowling )
    then there's always Taboo, Fantasy
    UnLimited, DejaVu, Lusty Lady, Hurricane,
    Re-Bar, 9 Lb. Hammer...

Pick up a copy of The Stranger and Seattle
Weekly... or check them out online, but always
tons of things, events and places that are jumping.

    My picks are:
Skylark Cafe (Josie Nutter's karaoke is a MUST)
Corner Pocket (Under Easy St. Records)
    9 lb. Hammer
    Fenix Underground (new location)
    noc noc
    Cowgirls Inc.
    Belltown Billiards
    Funhouse
Viceroy (where I almost stabbed the bouncer to death)
    Hooverville
    Jules Maes Saloon

I'm sure I'm not thinking of a fuckload of
other places at the moment as well.

Fuck... ya shoulda called me... we
are always up for Hurricane, some of
the best double shots around... and
then coffee once their bar closes

Not to mention, the best part of being grow'd
up... you CAN have pie and a Hurricane burger
    for breakfast.

Hell yeah... sounds like a plan, like I tell everyone...
the best time to come out here is in August, for my
birthday AND for Hempfest. No matter if you smoke
or not, it's a great time.. tons of bands and great food,
very friendly atmosphere for one and all as well as
all ages. Excellent weather and awesome view from
    the park.

Fuck yeah... it's on the calendar
Now if we could just get everyone else
to show up, we'll call it a party.

It'd be nice to make a good Blueblood
showing at Hempfest... or any event
around here... but the 'fest is rockin'.

There is always the Seattle Underground tour,
the eerie trog through the original city under
the city rebuilt by hookers, whores, sailors and
other such scalawags of the day. It's not for the
claustrophobic or couch potato, as it is a trek and
quite torturous in some areas over three blocks, 6
flights of stairs, poorly lit and uneven footing, close
to two hours of walking under the city.

There is a separate Underworld Tour, for 21 and over,
that has been added in the years since I've gone,
which is a late night trek and expounds more of the
less virtuous denizens of the era, brothels and opium
dens... and also an excellent time to view some of
the current residents of Seattle's underbelly, the
biggest fucking rats you'll ever see.

By less virtuous he's talking about the fantastic whores who rebuilt and supported the city.

I really think instead of the Emerald City we should be the Poonany City it'd make more sense.
