What is your karaoke role?

PS So what do you sing (or convince someone else to sing)?

I got requests at law school karaoke: usually Johnny Cash. I never sing anything beyond my range though. I signed other people up haha, those kids really needed to let loose. They would always smile afterwards though.

I get other people to sing until I have had enough drinks. Then usually I sing Elvis songs or if I'm feeling punchy some Brian Setzer or if I'm feeling super amazing I'll sing Fever the Elvis version of course.

Do u like cabaret music? I wish I could find a female vocalist in MN who did haha. I have this whole sound worked out in my mind. (Dark Cabaret obviously)

I am a karaoke enabler, many of my friends do a wonderful job, in a non serious kind of way!

I prefer dancin, n what i lack in skill i make up in effort, style and stayin power lol

I only sing to carpenters songs with one friend. Other than that I enjoy watching, but I only go out occasionally so all of this happens every-once-in-a-blue-moon.

I haven't done karaoke in about a million years, but I did Singstar with my family at Christmas. I kicked everyone's arse, which was a shock to me because my singing makes deaf babies cry. Turns out it works on whether you raise/lower the pitch of your voice at the appropriate times rather than how good you sound. I was the queen of 'memoriiiia' on 'Come As You Are'. My teenage years were not spent in vain.
