Default Mama Mia: The Worst Movie Ever

So I was so bored that I was reduced to cruising the Torrents for something to watch that I hadn't seen already. I found Mama Mia and said, "Okay, you were raised on ABBA, why the fuck not?"

Worst mistake I've ever made. This movie is terrible incarnate and yet I can't shut it off. It's like those people who tell of the anesthesia not working and being awake and conscious of their entire operation.

    Someone please send help!

generally i'm very disparaging of any mainstream film. its rare nowadays i see one that actually holds my attention. and tbh the last was iron man (a big suprise for me) but mama mia just falls into everything that i despise. a musical that takes itself seriously.

i hate musicals on a general note!

sorry, words cannot describe my hatred for musicals other than the urge to kill it with fire.

i would look forward to punnisher war zone but theres a few rumours on the net that have put me off

I had no choice but to show that pile of femenazi mental fisting bull shit. The owner of the theater thought it was a good idea to get. The people that came to were the the most freakishly unspeakable lot. If not for my laptop I and the other projectionist would have lept to our dooms. This I can tell marks the end of Glen Closes's career.

Yup. And the dude who plays Jigsaw (Detective McNulty from The Wire) plays the part like he'd just jumped outta the comic.

If this is as you say then it's previous life could well have been "You Can't Stop the Music". I like some ABBA and somewhat less Village People (but still some) however YCSTM is possibly the most appalling thing I've ever seen. The complaints I have are too numerous and hurtful to bother mentioning. YCSTM is from that awkward end of the 70's - beginning of the 80's fashion period (see "Times Square" for further reference... if you can die before you make the mistake of seeing either of these do so asap and die eternally happier - I am grateful for the warning on Mamma-Mia).

Yeah it was pretty good. His performance kind of bumped into the Joker territory every so often but they're kind of similar characters so it was forgivable.
