I loved today!

My fiance took me to the San Diego Wild Animal Park. It was amazing seeing so many different animals on hundreds of acres of land. I shot some really great pictures of everything from birds to lions. We went into the petting portion, and while we were getting food for the deer, one rammed Mace on the ass cause he was blocking it from the food dispenser. Lol, greedy little deer. And I must say, that was the first time a gazelle licked my hand. It was the cutest little baby in their nursery area! It took us an hour to ride the train around part of the park. The lions up close were absolutely amazing, and intimidating. If anyone loves exotic animals, thats one place you can see them roam on hundreds of acres, plus smaller exibits.

Sounds like one hell of a fine day, you will have to share the pictures as soon as you can. Have not been there in ages...but It is a fun place to visit...I remember being dissapointed as a kid when the animals didn't attack anybody...heheh

Glad it went so well...Sea World will however always hold my heart as the favourite of zoo's...what can I say, I love the water and all things in it.

Happy Birthday. I loved the Wild Animal Park when I was a kid. Haven't been in quite a while. The SD Zoo and Sea World are pretty cool as well.

I'm jealous, that sounds like a very nice place. The zoo in DC is kind of lame. Either you get shot in the parking lot, or you walk around looking at the rat infestation and the dead zoo animals that eat the rat poison.
